If you choose not to appear, you wont know how it feels to appear for a Board Exam.Its better to face a mini board exam before appearing for the IGCSE Boards directly.
If you choose to appear, it will boost the confidence in you.. You will be able to assess your skills in terms of your memorization skills related to concepts and the application of the concepts that you have learnt. The best is its a global batch of students that would appear alongside, the feeling is real-good.

So, forget the pressure of Cambridge checkpoint results, and go ahead giving the exam. It will help you experience the expectations of Cambridge. Rather than simply looking at the past papers and trying to solve them its the best to appear for an exam yourself, check your concept related skills and at the same time your time management as well.
