Why did most of the revolutions fail?

Why did most of the revolutions fail?

Here are the reasons as to why most of the revolts failed:

  • The revolutions did not receive the full support of the  working class 
  • The revolutions did not receive any  international support
  • The revolutions needed to fully remove the conservatives
  • The monarchies continued to enjoy the support from the  militaries in many countries 
  • Revolutionaries were divided  on nationalism 
  • The revolutions were earlier supported by the  middle class .Soon it too deserted the revolutions as violence set in
