  • The 2019-2021 Combined Science Syllabus
  • The syllabus content has been completely revised, updated and re-organised to align with the single Science syllabuses (Cambridge IGCSE Biology 0610, Cambridge IGCSE Chemistry 0620 and Cambridge IGCSE Physics 0625).
  • The appendix has been revised, updated and re-organised to align with the single Science syllabuses (Cambridge IGCSE Biology 0610, Cambridge IGCSE Chemistry 0620 and Cambridge IGCSE Physics 0625).

Compare Combined Science:

  • Is Combined Science good?
  • Yes Combined Science is good just like the other sciences such as 0625 Physics , 0620 Chemistry, 0610 Biology, 0654 Coordinated Science.
  • It has an added advantage over any of the three separate sciences, namely physics chemistry and biology in terms of the number of examinations. To explain specifically, we may say that when  you appear for 9 papers of Cambridge in all [ three per science subject ] , its only then you may say that you have appeared for all your science exams .
  • Another advantage is that you less quite a lot less and hence put in much less effort in learning and solving past exam papers as compared to the separate sciences.
  • You also get to choose between the core and extended curriculum.
  • So , yes combined science is good if you just need to know what is included in physics , chemistry and biology . It gives you the very basic knowledge about every science subject.
  • This is good if you do not wish to pursue  science post IGCSE. It is also a good decision to opt for Combined Science if you want to explore your comfort level with every individual science, before you go ahead choosing one of the sciences as your majors at the  AS/A levels/ IBDP or  any other university  course in science that you might take up later.
  • This could obviously not be the correct choice if you wish to study each science subject in greater depth.
